hackoff.com down

UPDATE:  With a lot of help from our friends at Signal Advertising, we've moved to a new hosting site.  Most of you will now be able to read Friday's episode of hackoff.com and see how Larry and Donna got back from Boston to New York after a snowstorm closed the airport.

However, because of the way the Internet works, it may take a while before your ISP is pointed at the correct site and you still may get an error saying the server can't be found when you try to access hackoff.com.  This should clear up soon.  Again sorry for the interruption in your reading.

If you are attempting to read hackoff.com online at this moment, you will not be able to reach the server.  We're hoping this outage will be fixed soon but have gotten an unacceptable ETA of Noon EST from our hosting site.  The outage apparently began shortly after midnight Eastern time.

I apologize for the inconvenience and will do everything I can to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Funny that at times publishing a blook should be like my old careers of running an Internet telephony company and and an ISP.  Should be able to do a simple thing like keep a server up or bring up a substitute when one fails.
