Several hundred of you receive daily doses of Fractals of Change via email from a service called Bloglet. Usually Bloglet works but not always. Following the lead of Fred Wilson, Brad Feld, and Matt Blumberg (thanks, guys, for leading), I tested a new email service called FeedBlitz when we launched hackoff.com. It works well and gives me the author more control over what you the reader receive.
Fractals of Change is going to switch to FeedBlitz as well either tomorrow or the next day.
FeedBlitz has a nice feature which automatically converts MOST Bloglet subscribers automatically (while protecting your email identity from other uses, of course). However, if you subscribed ANONYMOUSLY through Bloglet, then FeedBlitz has no way to know who you are. In this case please resubscribe through FeedBlitz here; they also support anonymity if that is your choice.
So long as you didn't subscribe anonymously, you should be switched over automatically so there is nothing you need to do. If, for some reason, you find yourself not getting emailed posts from Fractals of Change that you were expecting, please check to see if the posts are caught in a spam filter or junk mail folder. If not, please email info@hackoff.com and we'll see what's wrong.
One difference you will notice is that the email will contain the entire post rather than just the first few lines. You can either read the whole post in the email or just click on the header to get to the Fractals of Change site so you can read the post there as you have been used to doing.
You can also subscribe to receive emailed episodes of my novel hackoff.com: an historic murder mystery set in the Internet bubble and rubble here. This same link lets you enter a contest for free prizes from thinkgeek.com. If you are already an email subscriber to Fractals of Change, don’t resubscribe here or you’ll get an obscure error message.
