Commercial Message: Wanna Buy A Text Ad?

Thanks to help from our friends at Federated Media, text ads are now available on Fractals of Change.  I suspect, but don’t know, that these will be mainly useful to other publishers and bloggers or people with niche items likely to appeal to FOC readers.

The good thing is that they’re cheap - $7/day to start, going up if space runs out.  Since they’re text ads, you don’t need to pay for graphic design.  The bad thing is that they only appear on the FOC website; the majority of daily readers get their posts by email or RSS.  Also, these ads are BELOW the fold: no one’ll see them unless they scroll down (but, since my posts are long, people have to scroll down if they’re interested).

You can buy one and try it out at Federated Media’s Self Service site.  I’m planning to buy some on other sites for my novel hackoff.com: an historic murder mystery set in the Internet bubble and rubble myself and see what they do for visits.
